A long history of Construction and Engineering
The Rudick family has been intimately involved with construction and the evaluation and repair of damaged structures for four generations.
At the age of 10, while living in Russia, Ben Rudick became a carpenter’s apprentice, and later emigrated to the United States, where he settled in Youngstown, Ohio in the early 1900’s. He took courses in English and Math at the local YMCA, and started working as a handyman. Over the years he built a successful commercial construction business, which his son, Milton Rudick joined in the 1940’s.
Milton, also a civil / structural engineer, became interested in forensic engineering in the mid 1960’s and developed that business in tandem with the commercial construction (and later, property damage restoration) work.
Milton’s brother, Irv, also a civil engineer, built a successful commercial contracting firm in Canton, Ohio. Irv continues to practice forensic engineering. Milton’s son, Len Rudick, joined the firm in the mid-1970’s and worked for 10 years with his brother, Jerry, in running the property damage restoration business.
Len earned a civil engineering degree and moved to Cincinnati in 1989, where he founded McClellan Rudick & Affiliates, Inc.
Len’s son, Mike Rudick earned a civil engineering degree, and has been with McClellan Rudick since 2007. Mike is also a Haag Certified Roofing Inspector. Len Rudick, P.E. has over 30 years experience in construction and structural forensic engineering.
He has completed approximately 18,000 forensic assignments to date. Len is licensed as a professional engineer in Ohio and Indiana.
The Rudick family has a long tradition of integrity and professionalism. We have great pride in providing excellent engineering services to our clients.
